The Donau interconnect cable builds on the qualities of the Mosel interconnect model, a normal round cable with a refined design and a very sophisticated balance of qualities to give you an all-round interconnect cable. A Radio-Frequency shielding has been added, for those who live in areas where there is (too much of) Radio-Frequency interference.

Donau uses (2 x 2) solid, pure copper conductors which prevent strand interaction, a major source of distortion.
Donau uses a particular size (0.6mm) for its solid, pure copper conductors which simply keeps the skin-effect out of the audio range by using this special conductor size and thus will hold the distortion well below the threshold of the audible distortion.
Donau uses a precise combination (2 x 2) of solid copper conductors in order to significantly reduce the audibility of any distortion.
Donau has identical conductors for the positive and ground connections.
So you get a really clear, clean and dynamic sound.

All solid copper conductors are individually insulated with solid polyethylene, to dampen distortion.
